Drought & Water Polo – Schools Get Creative


In an unprecedented move, WP Schools’ Water Polo has deferred the schools’ league and playoff tournament to the fourth term as a result of the ongoing drought in the region.

While some schools are not on the municipal water grid, there are many others that are.  In a bid to keep the game alive, Amanzi was very impressed to see how creative several schools have been. Fish Hoek School has transformed Kalk Bay Harbour into a playing pool and Somerset College has taken over a farm dam.
